OUR CANCELLATION POLICY: Any cancellation will result in a total loss of the $750 USD deposit. Any cancellation made between: September 1, 2023 and October 4, 2023 will result in a loss of 50% of the trip price. Any cancellation made between: October 5, 2023 and January 1, 2024 will result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do so your deposit is refunded in full). Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans. You can use our suggested Travel Guard Insurance online and choose from several policy options. If the retreat is cancelled due to CDC travel restrictions, you will be able to receive a full refund or you may transfer your payment to another retreat of your choice.
COVID-19 Information
Your safety is very important to us!
We will adhere to all COVID-19 travel requirements at the time of travel and will keep you informed of any updates.
There are no requirements for vaccination or masks on this retreat at the time of this writing (May 2023), but you’re always welcome to wear a mask if you like. We will be providing N-95 masks and will also have some rapid Covid tests on hand if needed..
Hacienda AltaGracia routinely complies with any new health and sanitary requirements. Please inquire for specifics if you’d like to know more. Also keep in mind that we don’t give refunds if you have to cancel, which makes it all the more important that your travel insurance includes Covid-related cancellations.
Flights and Lodging
Please book your flight to Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO), Costa Rica
VIP Escort will be available to take you through customs in a private lounge. This takes less than 30 minutes – Easy Peasy!
Optional Early Arrival: Strongly recommended! You may want to arrive January 9th and stay over in San Jose, for a relaxing evening prior to the start of your retreat.
January 10: Arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) at 8:15am to take the 9:00am Charter Flight to Hacienda Alta Gracia. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely day prior to the start of our retreat in the afternoon.
January 10: The last charter flight to Hacienda AltaGracia is at 2:30pm. Please be at SJO at 1:45pm to ensure you get this flight, otherwise, you will miss the Opening Ceremony of the retreat and will need to spend the night in San Jose. If you do miss the flight, you will need to make sure you get on the 9:00am charter flight the following day.
January 14: At the end of our retreat, we’ll meet as a group at 2:30pm to ensure everyone leaves on time for the 3:30 charter flight back to San Jose.
January 14: Plan on staying overnight in San Jose as there are limited departures in the afternoon and evening. By extending your stay, you create time for a gentle re-entry upon the close of your retreat. After checking in to our hotel, we’ll meet as a group and enjoy a fun and festive farewell dinner in San Jose prior to departing for your journey home.
